Little Lobsters Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to visits and bookings at Little Lobsters Play Centre Ltd (“Little Lobsters”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By making a booking or visiting Little Lobsters, you agree to follow these Terms & Conditions and our Play Centre Rules.

1. Bookings

1.1 All bookings are subject to availability.

1.2 The person making a booking must be aged 18 or over.

1.3 Please check your booking confirmation carefully and contact us as soon as possible if any information is incorrect.

1.4 Your booking is for the date and session time shown on your booking confirmation.

1.5 Bookings cannot be transferred to another person without our agreement.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

2.1 Play-session bookings can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the booked session start time for a refund.

2.2 Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the booked session start time are non-refundable.

2.3 Bookings that are not cancelled and are not attended will be treated as a no-show and are non-refundable.

2.4 If you need to cancel your booking, please do so through the booking system where possible or contact us directly.

2.5 If Little Lobsters has to cancel a session, we will offer an alternative session or a refund, as appropriate.

2.6 These cancellation terms do not affect any statutory rights you may have.

3. Arrival & Session Times

3.1 Please arrive within your booked session time.

3.2 If you arrive late, your session will still finish at the scheduled end time.

3.3 If you choose to leave before the end of your session, we are unable to provide a refund for unused time.

3.4 We may need to manage entry or access to the play areas to ensure we remain within safe capacity limits.

4. Children & Supervision

4.1 Little Lobsters is a children's play centre and all children must remain under the supervision of their accompanying adult.

4.2 Parents, guardians and accompanying adults remain responsible for the children in their care at all times.

4.3 Our team is responsible for operating the centre, supporting customers and maintaining a safe environment. Staff do not provide individual childcare or one-to-one supervision.

4.4 Adults must ensure that children use the play equipment appropriately and follow reasonable instructions given by Little Lobsters staff.

5. Age & Admission

5.1 Our standard play sessions are designed for children up to 5 and aged 5years.

5.2 Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

5.3 Our pricing for babies and younger children is shown at the time of booking.

5.4 Children under 6 months may attend free of charge where our current pricing allows.

5.5 Under-1 pricing applies where stated on our current booking information.

5.6 We reserve the right to refuse admission where necessary for safety, capacity or other reasonable operational reasons.

6. Play Centre Rules

6.1 Customers must follow the Little Lobsters Play Centre Rules and any reasonable instructions given by our team.

6.2 Children must use the equipment safely and appropriately.

6.3 Pushing, fighting, aggressive behaviour, throwing objects or deliberately dangerous behaviour is not permitted.

6.4 Food and drinks must only be consumed in designated eating areas.

6.5 Socks must be worn in designated play areas.

6.6 Shoes must be removed where indicated.

6.7 Customers must not deliberately damage, misuse or remove Little Lobsters equipment, toys or property.

7. Behaviour

7.1 We want Little Lobsters to be a welcoming and safe environment for everyone.

7.2 Abusive, threatening, aggressive or discriminatory behaviour towards staff or other customers will not be tolerated.

7.3 We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave the centre where their behaviour presents a safety risk or seriously affects the enjoyment or wellbeing of others.

7.4 Where a customer is asked to leave because of serious or unsafe behaviour, the booking will normally not be refundable.

8. Illness

8.1 Please do not attend Little Lobsters if your child or anyone in your party is unwell with an infectious illness.

8.2 We may refuse entry where we reasonably believe that a child or adult is unwell and may pose a risk to other customers or staff.

8.3 If a child becomes unwell while visiting Little Lobsters, you may be asked to leave the centre.

9. Personal Belongings

9.1 Customers are responsible for their personal belongings and those of children in their care.

9.2 Little Lobsters cannot accept responsibility for belongings that are lost, damaged or stolen, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

10. Photography & Video

10.1 From time to time, Little Lobsters may take photographs or videos for promotional purposes.

10.2 Where consent is required, we will provide an appropriate opportunity to give or decline consent.

10.3 Customers should not deliberately photograph or film other children without appropriate permission from their parent or guardian.

11. Food & Allergies

11.1 Food and drinks purchased from Little Lobsters should be consumed in designated eating areas.

11.2 Please speak to a member of our team before ordering if you have an allergy or dietary requirement.

11.3 Allergen information is available on request.

11.4 Our food preparation areas handle a range of ingredients and allergens, and we cannot guarantee an entirely allergen-free environment.

11.5 Customers should not assume that a food item is suitable for an allergy without checking with a member of staff.

12. Closures & Changes

12.1 We may occasionally need to close or alter our facilities, sessions or services due to maintenance, emergency situations, health and safety concerns, utility failures or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

12.2 Where a closure significantly affects a booking, we will offer an appropriate alternative or refund, as applicable.

13. Liability

13.1 Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

13.2 Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which cannot legally be excluded.

13.3 We remain responsible for providing our services with reasonable care and skill as required by applicable law.

14. Complaints

14.1 We want every family to have a positive experience at Little Lobsters.

14.2 If you have a concern during your visit, please speak to a member of our team as soon as possible so that we have the opportunity to help.

14.3 If your concern cannot be resolved at the time, please contact us using the contact details provided on our website.

15. Changes to These Terms

15.1 We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

15.2 The Terms & Conditions applicable to your booking will normally be those in force when you make your booking, unless a change is required by law.

16. Governing Law

16.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

16.2 Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales, subject to any rights you may have as a consumer.
